When there is more recycling there is less pollution and the United States is cleaner. Since the U.S. generates a lot of waste, there will be a lot of waste in the landfill. The more waste in the landfill the more it costs. Recycling can decrease the amount of waste in landfills. If everyone has to recycle then there will be a decrease in the amount of trash in the landfills. To make sure everyone is doing there part in recycling, there will be people inspecting the recycling bins. To in force the laws, there will be fins or warnings given if someone does not recycle correctly. Currently about 7 states in the U.S. have set mandatory recycling laws. They have had success and the amount of people recycling increased. The states are cleaner and healthier than they have ever been.
